Japanese language schools are vital institutions that enable international students to acquire the Japanese language skills necessary for higher education upon arriving in Japan. If these schools provide appropriate Japanese language instruction along with support for academic and daily life, international students can develop the advanced Japanese language proficiency required to advance to higher education institutions such as Japanese universities, graduate schools, and vocational colleges. Furthermore, they can acquire the skills and knowledge needed to work in Japan in the future, as well as an understanding of social life in Japan.

We established the Shintokyo International Language Academy based on the belief that by nurturing international talent, these students will either find employment in Japan and contribute to the workforce, or return to their home countries to utilize the knowledge and experience gained here as global professionals. We believe this will contribute to the development of Japan, the students’ home countries, and the world—particularly Asian nations.

Our school aims not merely to help students “be able to use Japanese,” but to increase their ability to “achieve things through Japanese.” To this end, we strive to equip each student with the skills to identify and address their own needs independently.

With a student body of just 80, our school maintains a close-knit community where students, instructors, and staff are closely connected. In this warm and welcoming atmosphere—one that feels like a second home—we provide educational programs that are both rigorous and heartfelt.

Your time at our school will be a short period of up to two years. This time will not only be enjoyable but will also serve as a turning point that significantly changes your life. How you spend this time and what you do will shape your future. Please do your very best, with the support of our faculty and staff, to make your dreams a reality.

We look forward to meeting you. Let’s take a new step forward together in Japan.

Shintokyo International Language Academy opened its doors in October 2023 in Higashi-Nippori, Arakawa Ward, where students can experience the authentic culture of Tokyo’s traditional downtown neighborhoods firsthand.

Having launched our program in this historic neighborhood with a unique educational approach, we are fully committed to supporting our students so they can confidently take flight toward the next stage of their lives.

Although we are still in the early stages of our journey as a Japanese language school, our entire faculty and staff are dedicated to helping you realize your dreams. We look forward to your continued support.
